Cycle Messenger World Championships(CMWC) is a world championship for the bicycle messenger. Every year, bicycle messenger from all over the world will gather in a hosting country, to compete and to see who will be the strongest, smartest and fastest messenger in the world.

There will be numerous competitive events being organized with in CMWC. For example, race such as "Deliverly Race" will be organized as a main core, where the competitors will simulate daily deliverly in competitive fashion.

All the race events will be held as a fully insured competition on a closed course to follow the rules and regulation created by the International Federation of Bike Messengers Associations (IFBMA).

CMWC is a world championship sporting event, but it is also a meeting place for the messengers around the world to gather annually. By gathering in a same exact space, messengers from different historical background and cultures can share their diverse experience and work together towards improving the community.

Also, CMWC function as a place to introduce the messenger lifestyle and latest bike culture.
By using Artistic, photographic, musical and literary media, messengers from all over the world have the opportunities introduce their culture and to create opportuities for everyone to experience the latest bike trends and urban utilitarian culture.

TKBMA is a organization that consists of members who is dreaming 
and working hard to host CMWC 09 tokyo.  Most of the members are 
messengers who has organized events, such as Mixpression, BFF, 
KARMALIZM, CMTC, TOKYO MASSIVE in the past.
By organizing the members, the plan is to act positively on global
level and socially. To expand beyond the messenger community or 
bicycle community.  And the CMWC is the first big step.
